Thursday January 27th...
me: "Happy Birthday Ella, today is your birthday!!!!"
Ella: "Yay!!! my minnie party!!!!!"
me: "no baby, your party is on Saturday but today you are two"
Ella: "oh, saturday?"
a busy and non-eventful day of picking up party supplies and browsing the mall with gama
Janet, followed by a cupcake and a present didn't make for the most exciting actual birthday
but come Saturday everything was worth the wait.
Ella was SO excited =D
[I loved that she was so into it this year!]
The jumper arrived at about 10:30 and from that moment on that is where Ella would be found.
She jumped.
she played with her friends.
she played a few games including pin the bow on minnie and find minnie's friends.
she hit the pinata and ate lots of candy.
she had cake.
she opened gifts.
she now has everything she could ever dream of owning including
a new wardrobe [consisting of mostly twirly dresses]
a bunch of cool art supplies
and a ton of princess gear.
she never napped. she never cried. she stayed awake till nearly 11PM!
her party was a huge HIT!
she is officially two.
and now the fun really begins!
