ella's disneyland adventure!

We talked and talked about how much fun it was going to be but I never expected her to express any genuine interest before we actually got into the park and started seeing all the neat things. The minute we pulled into the parking garage she was eager and ready to go! She even put her ears on and sat so nicely in her stroller.

Unfortunately it takes like 2o minutes from the time you park until the time you are actually in the park, so as you can imagine the excitement turned into anxiousness and by the time we entered the gates Ella was entering the early stages of melt-down mode.

Luckily just minutes inside the gates Disney characters can be found and melt-down mode is avoided, Disneyland must be aware of kids attention spans.

Ella loves "me-mouse" [both mickey & minnie share this title]
she is a recent fan of "poppins"
and of course she loves "ladin and jamis"
however, meeting them in real life was a bit intimidating.

The enchanted castle was our next stop, and of course she was mesmerized.
Just through the castle we hoped on her very first ride,
Snow White' scary adventure. Yes, you'd think we'd pay more attention to the name of the ride but hey it's a kid's ride right? The girl was terrified! Luckily we quickly hoped on
the carousel and we were having a good time again.

There is nothing like a little line to bring out the silliness in Ella. Seriously, who needs to meet Minnie mouse when you're with a character like this???

After some pretend tea time at Minnie's house, it was time for some real lunch.

The girl loves her "dippy"

A few rides and a little cotton candy later we were ready to watch the parade.
Poor girl fell asleep right before it began and slept through nearly the whole thing.
it was so magical, she would have loved it, at least I taped it so she can kinda experience it.

She woke up just in time to see the most amazing part, the snow!

I had never been to Disneyland during Christmas time, and always wanted to go. I am SO glad we decided she was ready for her first visit because disneyland at Christmas time is AMAZING!!!!!

She loved it. She talks about it daily.
We cannot wait to go back =)
